Ashtabula OH - a distinguished international composites company. The
company leverages the deep research bench of MFG by applying this vast
materials and processing experience to our radome and reflector design
and manufacturing.
When MFG was founded in 1948, the company consisted of a few men and
women combining their ideas, talent and energy in a single small building.
Today, we are the industry's leading custom molder of fiber glass reinforced

Composites Technician Level 2
Experience:
3 or more years of directly applicable experience.
Education:
High school or equivalent is required. Post high school
course work such as CCT certification and formal training
in composite fabrication is preferred.
Job Level:
Possess a good understanding of processes related
to composite fabrication.
Department:
Lamination
Typical assignments:
CT-3 duties and Lamination, Gel-coating, repair of
composite products.
Job Complexity:
Works on assignments that are moderately to highly
complex in nature. Is able to recognize deviation
from acceptable practices or standards and makes recommendations
for improvements.
Supervision:
Successfully completes all tasks with minimal supervision.

Job Complexity:
Works on assignments that require considerable judgment
and initiative. Understands the implications of deviation
from acceptable practices and standards and is responsible
for assuring that appropriate corrective action is
completed.

Reports directly to Operational Supervisor and may
also have a leadership role.

Inside Sales
Position Summary:
Receives (by various modes including but not limited to: telephone, fax or email) requests for quotations from customers. Relays pertinent request information to others for input and coordinates with other departments in providing timely, accurate and appropriate responses to customers.
Essential Functions:
- Performs duties where judgment is required when communicating with customers and inter-company personnel.
- Performs duties where customer contact is a prime responsibility.
- Primary contact for telephone/email requests for quotations.
- Prepare price quotations and forwards to General Manager for final review.
- Follows up on inquiries by reviewing quotations and making contact (telephone, e-mail) with customer.
- Maintains files of active opportunities.
- Prepares paperwork (PO’s, shipment notification) to be given to accounting department.
- Research to locate new customers using Internet, trade publications, etc. and probing of government sites such as FedBizOPs to develop business opportunities.
- Make initial contact with potential customers to determine level of interest and need. Forward promising leads to General Manager.
- Schedule plant visits (customer or company) for General Manager or provide contact information to General Manager.
- Provide input and feedback on customer requirements and expectations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervision Received:
- Supervised by General Manager.
Responsibility and Authority:
- Understanding that failure to handle customers in a professional manner can result in loss of good will and providing more than ordinary service may result in otherwise lost opportunities.
- Interacts with other personnel including engineering and manufacturing departments.
Minimum Requirements:
- Use of basic office equipment such as computer, calculator, scanner, copier, FAX machine
- Customer oriented focus, impeccable treatment of the customer. Responsiveness, courtesy, integrity, strong work ethic and customer relationships are essential.
- Three years previous experience in a technical sales or marketing position.
- Organized, detail oriented, capable of multi-tasking and able to maintain contact information using some form of software package (CRM, Database, other)
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer interface skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Fluent English required, secondary language skills are a plus.
- Infrequently assist in trade shows, customer presentations and visits.

HS&E Administrator
MFG Galileo Composites is looking for someone to administer the HS&E department for our firm. We are primarily a designer/manufacturer of composite radomes for ground and ship-based antennas. This position is responsible for all safety and environmental initiatives at the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Organizes teammate training and awareness programs
- Administer health and safety programs established by the corporation that will meet or exceed OSHA standards.
- Conduct facility audits to identify potential compliance irregularities and monitor program success.
- Present safety topics and manage safety concerns in a timely fashion.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the rules and regulations of various regulatory agencies as they impact the manufacturing facility.
- Develop programs to ensure that the company’s manufacturing facility is provided with information to ensure that the plant is operating in compliance with all environmental regulations. This includes acting as a liaison with regulatory agencies whenever appropriate.
- Develop programs that will reduce the generation of all waste products from the manufacturing process, with an emphasis on the elimination of hazardous materials generation.
- Conduct periodic facility audits to confirm compliance and monitor program success.
- Accountable for facility compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must have working knowledge of federal and state laws relating to health, safety, and environmental.
- Must possess good written and oral communication skills as well as demonstrated organizational skills.
- 4 year Degree preferred.
- 5 plus years experience required in Health, Safety and Environment related field.
- Knowledge of OSHA & USEPA regulations is preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products

Payroll/Accounts Payable Clerk

Quality Control Inspector
Responsibilities
Work with Production and Manufacturing to provide
process control and quality audits that ensure process
control and quality acceptance.
Duties
- Provide on-going analysis using Mini-Tab and associated
analytical tools that will drive compliance and
continuous improvement in manufacturing and quality
performance.
- Maintain product quality, and manufacturing effectiveness
through daily troubleshooting and resolution of
process and quality non-conformances.
- Assist Production and Manufacturing in optimizing
current manufacturing processes, with a focus on
gel coating, molding and finishing.
- Works with gel coaters, laminators and Supervisor
to resolve technical/quality issues and provide
special products or product development.
- Participates in multi-functional teams (production
staff, Engineering, Human Resources to resolve problems
and help develop new products, new teammates and
promote Job Safety.
- Publish monthly quality and process performance
reports to local management and corporate management.
- Provide support in regards to customer quality
compliance as well as ISO support.
- Other Duties as assigned.
