MFG Union City Community Art  Project

MFG worked with the “Fish Commish” Committee in Erie, PA to bring art of out museums and onto the streets. In the summer of 2001, the streets of Erie we’re flooded with close to a hundred, 80 lb. fiber glass fish.  Each fish took two days to mold. After being molded in Union City the fish were delivered to each artist in Erie artistically decorated and then displayed throughout the streets and business of Erie.

In 2004 The Fish Commish called upon MFG expertise a second time for an even bigger animal. Molded Fiber Glass welcomed another chance to work with the community to mold seven foot tall frogs. Each frog weighted over 220 lbs and required an installation team to be put them on display.
